Anaerobically Digested Fiber

Digester Model

Magic Dirt™ soils products are a byproduct of producing renewable energy from DVO, Inc.’s patented anaerobic digestion (AD) process.  Anaerobic digestion is a collection of processes by which naturally occurring microorganisms transform waste into valuable byproducts in a controlled, oxygen-free environment.

DVO’s patented Two-Stage Linear Vortex™ anaerobic digester is unlike any other AD technology. Traditional anaerobic digestion technologies feature above-ground tanks, which are inefficient and costly to build and operate.

DVO’s modern design allows for a more complete digestion of waste streams, destroys more pathogens, produces more renewable energy and captures more valuable nutrients economically.  Organic waste is processed in the digester for approximately 20 days at a temperature of 100°F while being constantly agitated, which allows for better waste conversion to environmentally beneficial and useful renewable and recycled products.

Since 2001, DVO, Inc. has been solving manure and food waste management challenges, transforming organic waste streams into power and other useful byproducts at the highest levels of efficiency and reliability in the anaerobic digester industry.  Over 120 DVO vessels are installed at 90 sites across 18 states, with total electrical generation capacity of more than 80 megawatts. DVO digesters are also running in several countries internationally. For more information, visit http://dvoinc.com/
